The Photoshop Anthology book, for Free

wow, look like sitepoint is giving away another another book after the "Build your own Ruby on Rails application" book.

This time it is "The Photoshop Anthology", of course, just as last time around, the offer is only for a limited time, as I know, the offer will be valid only for another 26 days, from May 17. So better be quick.

Plone new look?

And so I have play with Plone a bit in the past, but it really has been a long time that I haven't touch on Plone ever since I finish up my last Project, in my ex-company. Not even visiting the website.

Today, I just decided to drop by and check out the site again, to my surprise, the design change a bit, and it somehow look kinda familiar, it look like......the layout of Ruby on Rails! Or at least the main part of it looks alike, only a lot plainer. Think so?

the hidden artist in me...

And so I found out LogoPond, which after you subscripted (of course, it is free, like any other thing web 2.0ed.), let you create a logo, and upload it. All other users can comments and rate your masterpiece. Simple. Except that, even though I thought I have a hidden talent in designing, well, that was what my primary and secondary school's art teacher told me anyway, my very first submission get a pathetic one star rating out of five.

Hmmm.... never mind, it will just make up my mind to dig in and create a better logo. Now, this must be better, should be, I hope, please...
