The BareNaked App...

Carson System (guys who developed DropSend ) are coming up with their new application, Amigo.
Inspired by 37 Signal's getting real process, they go on to blog about the steps to get their new app running in BareNakedApp,

"documenting some of the little steps, including estimating timelines and costs, picking freelancers, branding, naming, and legal decisions" as mentioned in WorkHappy.net

I have only read about 5 to 6 posts, from the initial wireframe design to hiring freelance developer and designer. Some cost estimation of the project as well. And reading their blog is like seeing a baby grow up in front of you (though that is other people baby), something like Start-up-Truman-show? :-)

Seriously, the blog is really informative and inspiring for all the wannabe start up. And make sure to start reading them from the beginning.

I had seen this before, but didn't pay it much attention. I think I'll give it a second look though.

By the way how's your django learning experience going?

Still struggling with Django, :-).

Haha, after setting a blog (not on the server, but locally), I am trying to create another application. But my time really has been chop to small pieces by my baby boy, it is harder now to sit down in front of computer long enough to stay focus. Ha, guess that is what I have to adjust to.

haha yeah your son should take priority. Hopefully as things settle down for you, you'll be able to continue.

Blessings on you and your family.

Yannick, thanks for the blessing.

Patrizio, guess what? I start to play a bit with Ruby on Rails as well, just at the very early stage though.

When I'm not out for work I play with Rails too...
I hope to be more at home in the future :(

In the process of learning Rails, somehow it make me understand Django better, and what I have learn from Django as well smoothen the learning process of Rails.

So I am quite please to learn both at the same time, actually.
